NegaraKu.md is built on one idea: knowledge about Malaysia should be easy to read — by people and by large language models alike. Its name comes from Malaysia's national anthem.
Initial content was AI-drafted and reviewed, then grown into a complete trilingual corpus. Today every topic lives as a file on GitHub, open for anyone to read, cite, or improve.
A Malaysia whose knowledge is open, trustworthy, and equally readable — by people and by the AI they rely on.
To curate Malaysia’s knowledge into an open, cited, trilingual library that anyone — and any AI — can read, verify, and build on.
AI-friendly Malaysia
Everything is source-visible on GitHub; every page offers its raw Markdown.
Every checkable fact carries its source.
Malay, English, and Chinese are treated as equals — no “main” language.
Race, religion, royalty, and the constitution — sourced, careful, human-reviewed.
Every article is a single Markdown file on GitHub. No hidden database — what you read is the file itself, legible to both people and machines.
Every topic exists in Malay, English and Chinese. Each article has its own master language — the origin it was authored in — and two translations kept faithful to it.
Every checkable claim carries its source. Articles move through a draft → reviewed → published ladder, and only published ones appear on the public site.
Topics touching race, religion, royalty or the constitution are labelled and human-reviewed before publishing — written neutrally and sourced.
NegaraKu.md’s entire knowledge base lives on GitHub — a free, public platform where millions of people build things in the open. Here’s why, and what it means for you.
- Open by nature — the whole library is public, not locked in a private system.
- Full history — every edit records who changed what, and when.
- Free and durable — nothing to host or pay for, and it won’t quietly disappear.
- A proven home — the standard platform for open, community projects.
- Trustworthy — because every change is public and tracked, nothing can be altered in secret.
- Open to everyone — suggest a fix or a new topic; it’s reviewed in the open.
- AI-ready — the content is plain text that people and AI can read directly.
- Always yours — an open licence and open format mean it can be copied and never trapped.
You don’t need to code — or even have a GitHub account — to read NegaraKu.md. GitHub only comes in when you choose to help improve it.

How is this different from Wikipedia?
NegaraKu.md is curated narrative in Markdown, designed for humans and AI, with a single source of truth on GitHub — not an encyclopedia anyone edits live.
How is quality ensured?
Every article is cited and moves through a draft → reviewed → published ladder, with an automated health scanner on every build.
How are sensitive topics handled?
Sensitive topics (race, religion, royalty, the constitution) are labelled by a single classification standard, must be sourced and neutral, and are human-reviewed before publishing.
Can AI use this content?
Yes — every page offers its raw Markdown, and the site publishes an llms.txt for large language models.
What is the license?
Content under CC BY-SA 4.0; code under MIT.
Spotted an error? Open a GitHub issue — anyone can. Authoring content is by invitation during our early phase.
